Stanford

I have an acquaintance who is a “Managing Director – Investments” for the Stanford Group. He also is an adviser to a couple of former clients of mine whose names you would recognize. They are really good people and I hope they haven’t been taken.

Seems like "Managing Director - Investments" is going to be right in the middle of everything. Call him! SSJ could have original reporting!!

Used to represent Stanford. Their double-digit-return CDs were "available" only to clients with a certain minimum net worth and yearly income, and I didn't come close to qualifying. The double-digit returns were too good to be true it appears.
