Kurtz puts on Ayers
This is Kurtz's big expose on Obama and Ayers?! Looks like a whole lot of nothing to me, but then I'm not seeing it through the same surely-Obama-must-be-an-evildoer lens that others are.
I must admit I had assumed that Kurtz would be able to find some dirty dealing at CAC. What he has done is at least settle once and for all that Barry lied through his teeth when he said that Ayers was just some guy in his neighborhood.
Obama has never said that his only association with Ayers was that he was merely a neighbor. He's talked about serving on a board with him. And as I've mentioned to you before, I have a draft-office-vandalizer (during Vietnam war) neighbor who I would serve on a board with in an organization giving out money to help schools or kids, even though I don't condone his long-ago actions, whether or not he "repented". Ayers is a university prof these days. All this concern about Obama's choices would make sense if today Ayers were running for something and Obama made the choice to endorse Ayers in the absence of any apology/repentance from Ayers. Serving on a board with him is not the same thing.
And, btw, it had been covered by the news before this, so the facts about his being on this board with Ayers were a given, so he wouldn't have thought he needed to say it. This is a recurring problem for him that I recognize because I do the same thing: he forgets to start at the very beginning and say all the stuff that 80% of the people already know for the benefit of the other 20%.
nonono. george asks who is Ayers and he responds just a guy in my neighborhood. had Hill not said board he wouldnt have. bah. Hill rightly points out B stayed on the board after Ayers 2001 ariticle came out. Is that ok? What about in his book where he says he made a decison to hang out with radicals?

I'd be interested in any evidence that Obama has said more than "a guy in my neighborhood."

YOu're right. Obama is plotting to bomb the White House and it's easiest to do that if you're living there.
