Inglourious Basterds
I liked it. Richly imagined. I'm always tickled when someone WRITES SOMETHING, and Tarantino did. It's WWII depicted as a bit of a western. Brad Pitt was a problem for me; I was distracted by how hard he was working at maintaining some sort of Southern accent, but K was not bothered. Christoph Walz on the other hand is worth the price of admission. I only had to close my eyes for a few brief spells.

I'm trying to decide if I want to see this. I'm also trying to decide if it's a comedy or not. Perhaps a dark comedy??
Not really a comedy, though there's humor here and there. The previews give the wrong impression, I think. Must see.
And I just re-read my post, and realized that I should explain my comment about the "western". It's not literally a western; I just meant there are just nods/suggestions to the western. It's also got a bit to say about terrorism and our concepts of good/bad guys.
