Ok, the doctor Friday wanted to wait for the orthopedist on Saturday. Orthopedist viewed the x-rays at home via computer Saturday night and finally reported this morning. Slight breaks in pelvis and upper arm. Although the pelvic break is painful, there is no surgery required. Ditto the arm and there won't even be a cast for the arm...just a brace for a couple of weeks.
She stays in the hospital until Tuesday when she'll be moved from Athens hospital to the Tyler rehab facility. Dad was in the rehab facility at times and it is a first rate facility. She should be there a couple of weeks, then back home. With luck, driving again (sans flip flops) in six to eight weeks.
All in all, not too bad.

Yikes. They get so fragile, don't they. So does she have to stay in bed for the pelvis fracture to heal?
My mom has broken a hip (falling while dodging a moving car) and has had many many stress fractures in her legs and feet from osteoporosis.
No, they want her on her feet as soon as possible. She actually would prefer to stay in bed for a while but she knows she needs to get going. She loves her orthopedist. Mom broke her arm about 10 years ago and it's the same guy. I'm glad.
He's trashing her cardio guy's advice about a low fat and low sodium diet. She's 81! I just want her to eat! If fat and salt help that, great. I have a real hard time believing diet is going to change much now.
How's your mom doing, Scooter?
