Remember all the hand-wringing and teeth-gnashing on the left during the Bush years about how horrible the deficit was? And all the blather about how expensive the Iraq war was?
We don't hear that kind of thing so much anymore.

I'm hearing massive amts of handwringing about the deficit, so I don't know what you're talking about. Also still hearing lots of talk about the cost of the Iraq war.

You don't hear it from the left was my first point.
The second point was that the cost of the war is pretty darn small compared to the current deficit, as evidenced by the graph.
I hear lots of handwringing about the deficit from the left. Hence the desire to repeal the Bush tax cuts on over $250k.
