Cable down at home...

The Time Warner representative asked, "Can you stay home all day Friday and one of our technicians can come by between 7:00 and 7:00?"

"Uh, no," I replied.

"How about between 7:00 and 10:00 Saturday morning? We'll call first."

I sighed, "Better."

Wow. 7 to 7? I've never heard a range like that. Had you said yes, they would have probably gotten there a few minutes before 7...pm.

Oh the irony that just when you could use your TV to help you kill 10 or 12 hours, you have no cable.

I was a little impricise. Even though Time Warner provides both...it is actually my internet connection that is down at home. Cable still works.

They used to be a bit more accomodating. I work five minutes from home so they used to agree to call me at the office and I'd meet them there. Now that I've been a customer for six years...
