To what end? Surely Olbie doesn't really think the comic book stuff matters. He's pissed that he was called a sports guy who doesn't understand politics. Looks to me like Hugh was right and it hurt. And Olbie's still a liar.
I thought he was pointing out the silliness of Hewitt's dismissal of him as a sports guy by dismissing Hewitt as a comics book lover. And making a huge deal of it by making him the worst person is further hyperbole. Don't watch often enough to have a sense of Olbermann's sense of humor, so maybe I'm misinterpreting, but that's my read.
