Hand shake

I must have missed something, but it looked to me like Obama just held out his hand to McCain and that McCain didn't shake it. That can't possibly have happened.

Update: Here's what I saw:

Maybe they shook earlier.

Clearly, McCain thumps Barry on the back to get his attention so that Barry can shake hands with Cindy. Barry turns around and tries to shake with McCain and McCain says no dummy, and points to Cindy. Ooooh.

Well since McCain can't raise his arms very high, he couldn't put his hand on Barry's shoulder. Had to thump him with a gnarled fist...

If you watched the debate, I believe they shook hands as Brokaw was signing off. He chided them for getting in front of his teleprompter screen.
